I probably share videos from Glove and Boots here than I do anyone else, especially over the past year or so. That’s partially because they’re really prolific and partially because, well, they’re really hilarious. Their stock and trade is riffing on popular internet fads and memes, which no doubt helps explain their popularity on YouTube. Whether they’re explaining the Internet, answering questions all day in real-time on Reddit or just playing ping pong for 10 hours (yes, they really made a ten hour ping pong video) they’re always doing new things and experimenting with form.
This is the latest example of that, a video which they challenged their fans to translate in to as many languages as possible using YouTube’s closed caption feature. As of this writing, the video has been translated in to over 40 languages, including silly ones like Swedish Chef and Pirate English (and whoever captioned it in to Gorilla English is now my personal hero).
