This a video of 82-year-old Chinese puppet master Chen Xi Huang demonstrating traditional Chinese hand puppetry at the TEDxShanghai conference earlier this year. Note how he uses a “transparent” puppet to demonstrate his complex hand movements, which is a very common teaching technique in traditional Chinese and Taiwanese puppetry.
