This is the video for Need to know from New Zealand based producer K+Lab and Amsterdam based Kiwi vocalist Sacha Van Beek. It uses some stylishly wonderful herky-jerky marionette puppetry to take a lighthearted look at four couples enjoying a day at the beach.

Tim Sargisson, Caleb Cowie, Melissa Donald and Steffen Kreft were the team of Kiwi puppeteers who worked on this, assisted by Oren Oooariki, Kura Scott, Scarlett Vavasour, and Janelle Bennett.

The video was directed by Micah Sargisson who tells me he drew quite a bit of inspiration from the many music videos in the PuppetVision Blog Archives.
