I’m always humbled by the skill and craft of European puppetry companies and lately I’ve been especially taken with the work of Spain’s Títeres Etcétera. Founded in 1981 by Enrique Lanz and Fabiola Garrido, they’re well respected internationally for their beautiful, large scale puppet musicals. Here’s a look at the making of their innovative puppets for a production of Carnival of Animals.
