Perhaps it’s just a personal bias, but I believe that Germans tend to do puppetry better than just about anybody. Case in point: Küssen kann man nicht alleine (roughly “Kissing Cannot Alone” in English), a music video for German singer/band leader Max Raabe that tells the story of a frog searching for love on the streets of Berlin. It’s another example of the great puppetry of Norman Schneider (see previous post).
