If you’re familiar with the “Ugly Doll” plush toy phenomenon or a regular at any of the art or craft shows in Toronto, you may already know the work of Monster Factory. They’re a company based here in Toronto that produce line of colourful Monster plush toys. This is a “sneak peek” at a series of web shorts they’re developing and just one of the puppetry projects they’ve been involved with over the past year or two.

Monster Factory is also behind Chupa Chuck, the Chupa Chups mascot who stars in a viral marketing campaign that includes a bunch of fun little videos like this one:

They’ve also got a collection of slightly less polished videos on YouTube that you can browse. Hopefully we’ll see even more fun puppet stuff from Monster Factory in the near future!
