My friend and fellow Unraku-er Stacey Gordon had her puppets featured on the U.S. national morning talk show The View this week! The puppets in question are caricatures of The View’s co-hosts Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Sherri Shepherd and Barbara Walters. They were originally commissioned last year by Etsy – where Stacey is a well-known puppet maker – as a special thank-you gift to co-host Joy Behar for writing an article for Etsy’s blog.

Unfortunately, the puppeteering in the segment is a little lack luster, but hey, how many puppet makers get to say they’ve had their work on The View? The ladies seem to love their puppets and Stacey even got a “Promotion consideration provided by staceyrebecca.etsy.com” credit at the end of the show!
