Spinmaster Toys developed the popular new Bakugan toys and share seven of their keys to success.

You may not have heard of it yet, but the next big thing in the world of toys is called Bakugan, a new game played with cards and magnetic spring-loaded marbles that open and depict different characters. The game was developed by Toronto’s Spinmaster Toys, who recently shared seven key ingredients that go in to making a hit with The National Post:

1. Focus on ideas that don’t fit what everyone else is doing.
2. When you have a hunch, act on it fast.
3. Share the wealth through partnerships.
4. Build on what works.
5. Go global.
6. Take the time to do things properly.
7. Whatever you’re doing, keep it fresh.
