Puppets feature in a promo for Canada’s Aboriginal Achievement Awards.

Canada’s Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) – a national network run by and serving the country’s Aboriginal people – traditionally airs a lot of puppetry and this puppet promo for the upcoming upcoming Aboriginal Achievement Awards on YouTube is in keeping with that spirit.

BTW, the joke in this clip doesn’t really work if you don’t know Adam Beach, a fairly well-known Native Canadian actor who is co-hosting the Aboriginal Achievement Awards on March 30th (audiences in the U.S. and overseas will be a lot more familiar with him after he joins the cast of Law and Order: SVU later this year).
