C.J. and Peanut, puppet hosts on MTV’s On Demand Channel.

MTV doesn’t feature much music any more, but they seem to have a whole lot of puppets. They have the hit comedy show Wonder Showzen, Crank Yankers (which MTV2 picked up after it was canceled by Comedy Central) and Videogame Theatre on MTV Italy. Now add to that list C.J. and Peanut, puppet hosts of MTV’s On Demand online channel. The premise for the characters – performed by Michael Ziegfield and James Godwin – is that they live/work in the MTV vault and talk up MTV shows when they’re not busy clamping their nipples to car batteries or having erotic dreams (this is MTV after all).

I haven’t actually been able to find them online (if someone has an MTV URL please send it in), but you can see some of their sketches on YouTube here and here.
