Puppet Tom @ MySpace

MySpace’s rising foam and fleece star, “Puppet Tom”.

When you become a member of social networking site MySpace, your first friend is MySpace co-founder Tom Anderson. Part of Tom’s job at MySpace is to introduce new users to the site and answer their questions. Now Tom has some extra help (or maybe competition) in the form of Puppet Tom.

Puppet Tom is a creation of Seattle-based improv troupe Train of Thought. Each week they post a Puppet Tom video about Puppet Tom’s MySpace adventures and taking questions from MySpace users. The videos that are up so far are pretty amusing and if you’re deep in to the MySpace culture you’ll love them even more. My favourite video so far is the first one with Puppet Tom delivering a beatdown to a puppet of (Friendster founder and MySpace rival) Jonathan Abrams.
