Puppet Rapist was voted number one at January’s screening of Channel 102 in New York.

Puppet Rapist is sort of disturbing on several different levels, but really well done. It’s a five minute pilot for a show about a convicted “puppet rapist” who has to return to life on the outside in world populated with puppets. The film was produced through Waverly Films, a Brooklyn, N.Y. based filmmaking collective.

Puppet Rapist is a failed pilot from Channel 101 (see previous post), but last month it was voted one at Channel 102 – NYC’s version of Channel 101 – so we should expect to see another installment of this online in a week or so.
