Puppet Rapist

Puppet Rapist was voted number one at January’s screening of Channel 102 in New York.

Puppet Rapist is sort of disturbing on several different levels, but it’s really well done. It’s a five minute pilot for a show about a convicted “puppet rapist” who has to return to life on the outside in world populated with puppets. The film was produced through Waverly Films, a Brooklyn, N.Y. based filmmaking collective.

Puppet Rapist is a failed pilot from Channel 101 (see previous post), but last month it was voted one at Channel 102 – NYC’s version of Channel 101 – so we should expect to see another installment of this online in a week or so.
