Heather Henson in Austin this weekend

Heather Henson hosts the Muppet Movie and Handmade Puppet Dreams this weekend in Austin, Texas.

Heather Henson is hosting a special screening of a restored print of 1979′s Muppet Movie and her Handmade Dreams program of independent film this upcoming Sunday as part of the Texas Puppetry Festival at Austin’s cool Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. Heather will be speaking about the work of her father, Jim, and as well as the late Jerry Juhl (see previous post) who will be paid tribute with a special video.

I’ve been wanting to see Handmade Dreams for awhile and I’m sooo upset I’m not able to make it up to Texas for this on the weekend. If you’re in or near Austin make sure you don’t miss it too!
