There seems to have been a lot of interest in how that cool alien puppet head I mentioned a few days ago was made and William has been kind enough to reveal that the puppet’s skull is made from epoxy putty and that it’s controlled via a micro servo hooked up to a video game joy stick. He’s posted a video of the puppet’s eye mech in action is along with the original concept sketches for the puppet and an extensive tutorial is promised sometime soon.

Note that the video seems to use some odd MPEG compression; if you have trouble opening them use Windows Media Player or Windows Movie Maker (Mac users might be out of luck).
