Phil the Alien is – really! – opening today across Canada (contrary to what the official site still claims) and I for one can’t wait to see it. I haven’t read all of the reviews yet, but they seem to be very positive. They were plugging it hard on Reel to Reel last night (host Richard Crouse has been a big supporter of the film) with Toronto Star movie critic Geoff Pevere saying he hoped that it will become another Canadian cult classic.
