Not sure what has been up with Blogger tonight…I have been trying to log in for hours to post a few things, many of which had to do with Mirrormask.
Neil Gaiman published a really interesting statement from Lisa Henson today that very diplomatically addressed the flak Henson usually takes from Muppet fanboys whenever the company tackles a non-puppet project like Mirrormask:
Some of our fans do sometimes get upset whenever we do anything new, particularly if it is not Muppets. When my father was alive, he was perplexed by this, as the only thing he was ever really interested in was the next thing on the horizon, the thing that was slightly technically impossible and perhaps commercially unwelcome.
I’ve published the full text in the PuppetVision Forum.
I had more Mirrormask links to share, but due to the Blogger trouble I started this thread in the forum instead.
